Every day I read these off topic messages, and they are appalling. Never before have I met a bigger group of blindly ignorant and indoctrinated individuals. Are you all bored seventh graders who lack a complete understanding of history? Are you insecure in your manhood and feel war is a necessary instrument of national policy? Or are we members of America's privileged class? Why are you brainwashed slaves who tout the company line and equate mass-media lies to truth? 99% of the political messages extol the merits of America and knock the rationality of the rest of the world.
You live in a country where money speaks, a country where for every $6 dollars you make for your company you are paid $2. You live in a country where in the last fifteen years, income from investments in property has been growing two to three times faster than income from work. The top 500,000 people have more wealth, more money, than the other 200,000,000, and the top 1 have seen their incomes soar by over 85 percent after taxes in the last 15 years, while the bottom fifth declined by 10 percent.
You live in a country where war is the wealth of the state, where the Persian Gulf war was waged for economic reasons, and where, if the US succeeds in overthrowing the Taliban and replacing them with a stable and grateful pro-western government it will have crushed not only terrorism, but also the growing ambitions of both Russia and China. A country where Afghanistan, as ever, is the key to the western domination of Asia.
Lastly, you live in a country that 30,000 protested against in England (protested the US-led bombing), where 70,000 marched in India, 70,000 in Germany, and 100,000 marched in Italy.
