Why is a 3.5" drive 4" wide?

It's a 3.5" DISK drive, the disk itself is 3.5", so the drive itself MUST be bigger than 3.5"! 🙂

Hope this has cleared up your little dilemma 🙂

Marketing weasels. 😉

A 15" CTR monitor has a usable area of like 13.75"

A 56K modem is limited to 54K.

A 20 GB hard drive actually formats to 18.5 GB.

A guy says his "wood" is 6" long, it's really 4.5" at most. 😱)

...truth in advertizing, my a$$! 🙂
