Why is a 3.5" drive 4" wide?

It's a 3.5" DISK drive, the disk itself is 3.5", so the drive itself MUST be bigger than 3.5"! :)

Hope this has cleared up your little dilemma :)

A 15" CTR monitor has a usable area of like 13.75"

A 56K modem is limited to 54K.

A 20 GB hard drive actually formats to 18.5 GB.

A guy says his "wood" is 6" long, it's really 4.5" at most. :eek:)
