That makes cola around $6/gallon, quite a bit more than gasoline. Think about that next time you fill up with gas...

(the only deal worse is water at the same price, lmao)
Wow, you can get bottle water at the same price as coke?
We have plenty of water here in Canada & the price of convenience size bottle range from 1.3~2X of coke.

My in house active carbon/reverse RO water filtration system cost me about $80.00 CAD per year that filter everything down to 0.003 micron, and also strip all chemical including chlorine down to 0.09 part per million. (Initial investment for the setup is $270.00 CAD)
It is well worth the price compare to purchasing ourageous bottle water at the store. It work out to be about $0.10 CAD ($0.065 USD)per US gallon.

What's wrong with your tap water? (In the US at least,) water has floride in it, why would you want to get rid of that?

Good for your teeth, not good for the rest of the body. As more and more studies come out less and less places will have floride in their water.

My city water is the second cleanest in the world, but I still don't like the taste compare to filtrated water.

just like you buying a pound of lunch meat that is prepackaged. you can goto the deli case and get it fresh cut for way less.

really? 2 pounds of lunch meat at Costco costs just under 8 bucks... how much meat do you usually get at delis for 8 bucks? I don't go to regular markets often anymore since Costco is closer and cheaper for most items...

2 Liter cokes can cost as little as 69 cents.

20oz cokes cost 1.50 cents in our shopping malls...

maybe it's the plastic, it does seem a little thicker in those 20oz bottles

I remember buying 1 liter bottles in the 80's or early 90's for good prices at our corner store in Chicago. 1 liter is a great size!

The local RiteAid has a special on Pepsi six-packs; you can get 2 for $5. So, 12 bottles of 20oz for $5. That's less than $.50 each. Heading there after work today. Sierra Mist ownz me.
