Wow, I've never had so many problems with any version of IE as I am right now. I've been using WinXP for about a month now, and for the first few weeks it was all perfect, but recently IE has become unbelievably unstable. Logging into anything or any site = automatic crash, about one out of every 5 mouse clicks = a crash, and anything else surfing-related = a crash within 5-10 minutes. I've tried reinstalling.. but don't know what else to do. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Mine's been wonderful, not a single crash yet. My IE5/Win98SE used to go down like a catholic school girl on prom night...this one is much more stable.

Demo,
I find that IE6 gets unstable when i have my firwall (zonelarm)up and the LAN's workstation trying to get on the inet.

IE6 gets slooooo and unstable. At that point, I have to shutdown firewall and reboot. That usually fixes both problems and both can access the inet with ie6.

Otherwise, If the workstation is not trying to access the Inet, the Lan will work as well as IE6 with Zonealarm up. Weird, but it is just a matter of time before this gets corrected. I can do without zonalarm, as I also use XP's firewall (if you want to call it that).

I keep W2k on a partition to use if I want a quick fix to get on the web. But I cannot get the LAN to work if W2k is the server and XP is the workstation.

I know this is no help, but sometimes consolation causes results.

I keep having to go back to win2k pro, and I think I'm staying here this time. I think the longest I had xp working properly on my copm was a month. Each time it gets messed up and it's never the same thing.
