Why I love Amazon

Got this email earlier today.

We're contacting you about duplicate e-mails you may have received from Amazon. We recently learned that, due to a technical error, we sent duplicate Amazon AutoRip e-mails to some of our customers, and that you may have received one or more of these e-mails. We wanted to let you know that these e-mails did come from Amazon. We value the trust of our customers customers and apologize for this error.

Because of the situation, we've applied a $5 Amazon.com promotional credit to your account. We'll apply this amount to your next qualifying order automatically (you don't have to enter a claim code). The promotion is good for any MP3 or other qualifying purchases made on Amazon.com. You can verify that the credit was applied by reviewing the Order Confirmation e-mail for your new order, or by going to Your Account at: https://www.amazon.com/your-account

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

I never complained or even cared that I got the email four times over a few months. Now I get $5 more to spend and an unprompted apology.

I love them because I just ordered something at 6pm thats gonna show up tomorrow. Which is good cuz its herbal meds and I kinda need them.

wow, i have never ordered anything from Amazon that showed up in less than 3 days, i made one overnight once and it showed up a couple days later. I like their prices and selection but i don't think they are all that imo. Though that is more likely the opinion based from some of the sellers

EA's Origin store offers the Sim City pre-order with a $20 off next Origin purchase voucher, valid for 14 days.

Amazon offer the pre-order with a $20 off voucher applicable anywhere within Amazon, valid for one year. Win!

guess it depends on where you are. it usually takes a week to get my stuff so i don't order from them all that often.

They have a warehouse in Atlanta so I get almost everything next day on Prime.

Indiana. I'm sure it's probably a location thing as dighg mentioned, Newegg is the same way, i know their distribution centers are pretty far from me, one in NJ i know.
Prime membership does sound good though, if we didn't have Netflix and i could take advantage of their streaming service i'd definitely get it for sure, but without it i don't think the others i really need

Only one time has an item ever failed to reach me next day, and Amazon refunded my $3.99

With normal 2-day shipping, it has never been late, and is often upgraded to overnight or saturday delivery for free.

Prime forever

I once ordered something from Amazon and got it three days later... in Iraq.

Prime customers actually get treated a little better than regular customers (even if they pay extra).

I bought a phone from Amazon Mobile, the phone dropped in price by $50 the next day. I called them up and in less than five minutes, gave me my refund no questions asked.

I love Amazon have had prime for 3 years now, love being to lazy to go get Cat food and it comes the next day!

I hate them. I ordered a product on Saturday, it's suppose to be here today... but it's not! I demand a refund.

Ps. I have Prime.

Amazon is fucking slow! I ordered a SSD from them and it took like two weeks. Bought a book from them last month and it took two weeks. Never have that problem with third party sellers though.

before i got prime, my stuff took about 2 weeks. now i get it in 2 days, every time. kinda sucks cuz i give them a lot of money now.
