Why I hate people.

I hate people. I owned my brand new 2006 Civic for only 2 days and already it has been keyed, and dinged.

Cost to fix: $3000. I hope the bastards that did these die horribly in a car crash, with their children surviving as gimps. :|

Jealous, careless A$$holes.

I seriously doubt it's jealousy. Your car was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Someone keyed the side. Either they were jealous, or they just wanted to be mean.

Why would some one be jealous of a honda civic? Its almost as bad as being jealous of a crown vic or a mini van or something.

I could have been a 2006 Yugo, it's still wrong.

If its the Civic Si, I would buy the jealousy bit. Just call your local Honda dealer and ask about the wait list. That car is selling like hot cakes, units in my area are pretty much gone long before they even get to the dealer.

Any way, that really sucks dude. When I hear about this sort of thing, I always hope Karma is in the works.

It shouldn't matter if its a Civic, or an Audi, or a Chevy Cavalier. People should respect other people's property, and they dont. A new civic costs, what, $15k? So because that car ONLY costs 15k, then people should key it all to hell and the owner doesn't have the right to be upset because "its just a civic"?

wow, some people. some of you get fingerprints on your monitors and you're up in a huff.
this is a brand new car. that's some fvcked up sht. i genuinely feel bad for you OP.

No, i think what he's saying is that it's probably not out of jealousy.

Ok...I can sorta see that, although around where I live, it could very well be, with the majority of people driving around in rusted out Fords and Chevys

Someone kicked in the rear quarter panel of my 2 week old 2003 Honda Civic. It was nearly brand new at the time, since then it has gotten keyed, scratched, door dinged. A little over a year later I bought a 2005 Scion TC. The Scion TC is almost 2 years old and there are no door dings, scratches or anything on it. Seems like people like to vandalize Civics. And my Honda Civic is 100% stock.
