well, that's a perfectly legitimate question to ask for someone who call him/her/itself "abc"..

Actually, Mission Control is located in Clear Lake. (The city, not the body of water.)

But that doesn't have the ring to it that nearby Houston has.

<< No, it was in Moscow, but they called it "houston" as a joke. >>

That's a dumb joke.

no you dweebs, I was looking for something possibly as NEVO explained. Now as for you IcemanjerK, "abc" is obviously something you know of no significance or meaning to, but it's all good.

Um, buddy? I'll let you in on a secret. It helps if you say that. You asked a stupid question, "was control center in Houston." You didn't say "was it in Houston or someplace near it?" That's like if I went up to you and said "Does target carry CD's?" and you respond yes, then I say "No, you dweeb, I meant does it carry Radiohead CD's. Dumbass." See what I'm getting at?

<< actually, it's "houston, we've had a problem" >>

Um....no it's not.:) I don't know where you got that, but...no. Not from the movie or the actual event. It is Houston we have a problem.

"houston, we've had a problem" was on one of the game shows i watched several months ago ... the host asked what tom hanks said in apollo 13 ... the contestant answered "houston we have a problem" and it was a wrong answer ....

but it's just a game show ... i don't remember what he actually said in the movie .... anyone wants to confirm?

Um, Pal? I'll let you in on my FULL quote: "was the control center actually physically in Houston Texas or something?

That IS like what you claim I did not phrase.
Secondly then your little analogy is out the window.
