NK army has old crappy equipment and pose no realistic threat to invading SK. The DMZ would just be strafed over and over as they all died.

Their artillery is hugely overblown as a threat. They also have no way to "drop a bomb" on South Korea.

yeah, I doubt they have a nuke.

but from my link above, I do believe they have artillery that can reach seoul.
and it's lined up all along the dmz.

seoul and any major cities north of it will be flattened.

that would cause major production delays from Samsung.
tvs, galaxy s7 smartphone, etc

Why don't they just slowly relocate the bulk of Seoul to the southern tip over a few years and when Seoul is reduced to 40% of its current size, just stop sending aid to Best Korea.

lol as if they could get a million bodies through that passage way before China smacked them up the head for humiliating them on the international stage. China is trying their damnest to look like a reputable superpower the world can trust and do business with and we all know NK is their minion. Big brother would never allow it.

That would be the same as moving NYC to Albany and only leaving the outer burroughs.

The disruption of the area would break it; to much interdependency.

North Korea's military is the very definition of a paper tiger, and any victories they would have at the immediate outset would be the very definition of a Pyrrhic victory.

Our strategy is to let them remain a burden on their patron state China.

You should consider being an adviser for fightin' Lindsey Graham. That man sees boogiemen underneath his flatware.

They couldn't flatten Seoul though. Some analysis I read a while back explored the math of flattening a city the size of Seoul with artillery and it is impossible with what nk has. To realistically crush it would take many times more guns than they could turn on it and that is notwithstanding the fact that all these guns in turn are being targeted by defense if they ever try.
