Why have Mtn. Dew 20 oz bottles been so flat lately?

I've been buying 20 oz bottles of Mtn. Dew from my school's cafe for the last couple months, and they are consistently flat. They aren't old, but they just don't fizz much when you open them. What gives??

I've always noticed that Mountain Dew from the can goes flat quickly as well... What gives?

The economy sucks and they're trying to cut corners to make up for the high shipping prices due to the increase in fuel prices. Blame Bush.
