At one point Haswell was a Q4 2012 launch ,,,,, that goes out the windoz.
Haswell chips will come out in Q1 2013. these chips however are all for laptops mobile.... 2 core 4 thread 4 core 8 thread. It will take less power then any chip made by intel right now. It will have a GPU inside the CPU that is faster then other generations and probably compares to a 4850 or something.
That is the only Haswell options you get until 2014. Not more speed but less power consumption with a lightning fast onboard on chip GPU.
In Q3 2013 Sandy E 8 core and Ivy Bridge 8 core make debut. They will have 3 flavors like usual. 8 core 16 thread Sandy E. and Ivy Bridge 6 to 12 core cores 24 threads. Thank you, gl
