Why hasn't Taco Bell jumped on the low-carb bandwagon?

I remember a long time ago that Taco Bell has "lite" tacos with lite cheese when the low-fat trend really started going. Now that the low-carb trend has come upon us, I wonder why they haven't released low-carb tacos yet?

that's the point. by "jumping on the low carb band wagon" taco bell would be attracting customers that would otherwise be eating elsewhere.

Because if they did, it probably wouldn't give you horrible sh!ts like it does now.

/me just had Taco Bell an hour ago

Maybe because the folks at Taco Bell saw how the "low carb" stuff at competing fast food places did (McDonalds, Subway..etc). I don't see as many low carb product commercials as much as I used to. Guess the fad diet is finally dying down. Low carb..bah.. we go to fast food joints for fatty, delicious, squirts inducing meals...not to eat healthy stuff.

Taco Bell is delicious as is, they don't need that media crap to keep their buyers coming.

When I want to eat unhealthy, Taco Bell is my preferred source 🙂
