Why hasn't LucasArts published a real IJ game since 20-03?

The Emperor's Tomb was actually pretty good (the patched PC version, that is), even if it wasn't as good as the patched PC version of the Infernal Machine and Fate of Atlantis (the latter two being directed by Hal Barwood, while the former wasn't developed by Lucas Arts).

The Emperor's Tomb used DX8 (to put in perspective as to how long it's been since there has been an Indiana Jones game).

So why hasn't Lucas Arts made a new Indiana Jones games other than the one for the Wii and the lego ones?

Does anyone think they'll release a new one in the next 2.5 years? Also, do you think it's likely that Hal Barwood would do it?

oh dog, fate of atlantis was an awesome game. i tried to play it recently using ScummVM to emulate, but there was a glitch that happened when you arrived at Crete and needed to survey the lines to find the discs to open the labyrinth (run on sentence!) that made it impossible to progress any further :(

I miss the old LA games of this style.

They're too busy making shitty games and running their brand into the ground. Now that they're done with The Force Unleashed, they've decided to regress further and make Star Wars Kinect.

Is that true about the glitch? I remember that part very well and I'm pretty sure the last time I played through I didn't have a problem with it.
