Why has my cpu temp gone up?

I've had an AMD T-bird 1.33 Ghz running for about 8 months now, In the first few months It ran at about 113 F Idle, and got up to about 123 F full load.... Between then and now I haven't really be watching the temps because I knew they were ok.... Now it runs at 125 F (52 C) Idle and gets to about 136 F (56C or so) under full load... My fans are dusted and everything, same RPM readings too.... Why is this happening?

Perhaps the ambient temperature has gone up? And, even though you say fans are dusted, there still could be a build-up of dust somewhere that is inhibiting airflow. There is also the possibility that the thermal goop has dried up (but this is improbable)

Ambient temp? you mean like room temperature? If so, I predict it has only gone up a degree or two at most...if any...

Eh, you'd be surprised. You should take a look at the ambient temperature running through your system. In about a day or two's time, it went from 29 or so ambient to 34. The thing is that I don't feel a difference in the temperature in the room either.

Your computer is a whole different environment...gotta remember that most everything in your computer is producing heat as well.

Depending what type of thermal compound you are using, it may have dried out or lost its effectiveness. If that happened then you would not have good heat transfer as when the thermal compound was new. I would recommend checking the thermal compound to see if it has dried out, and if it has I would change the compound immediately.

Try taking off the dust that's on your heatsink. Clean the outside, and then use an air can and blow out all the dust that is inside your heatsink. These things dust up real nicely, and the dust really cuts off their ability.

Take the fan off of the Heat Sink completely and blow out the fins with canned air. I had a similar problem lately and found a small "mass" of dust collecting under my fan on the HS. I had blown it out before real well so I didn't suspect this. I was shocked when I removed the fan. My temps dropped almost 5 degrees C after that. Try it!
