Why even bother with Blu Ray?

I'm with you on this one. HD-DVD is superior. Just because one may have more capacity than the other doesn't mean anything at all if the technology is bad.

I'll teach one lesson here and that's it:

It will come done to who has the better supply chain and support from media moguls. SUPERIOR does not win a slightly less superior product.

Go wiki VHS vs BETAMAX and come back here.


You come across as one who thinks he/she is the only one who has heard of, or experienced, Betamax. I also remember how many format wars Sony has won.....

The mini disc for example?

They said the same thing about Betamax.

Actually it was the opposite. VHS had higher capacities than Betamax. Betamax had better quality.
