Included: Underwater resort, world's tallest building, theme park over 1,000x as large as Disney World's Magic Kingdom...

Why is all of this happening in Dubai? Kind of a middle-of-nowhere place if you ask me...
 
They should make a space elevator, and an airport on the water, so when you land, you can take one of several ways to get to the land. Underwater trackway where naked women dance and strip behind glass, jet packs, or catapult.

EDIT: I don't care where I'm going, i'd be like, LA to Phoenix? I'll take the stopover in Dubai please.
 
It's the oil money. They're just raking it in. But they're wasting on "toy" projects like they've been talking about. If they were smart, they would be investing in value added oil products like plastics and other materials that benefit from oil & cheap electricity.
 
I security really tight in Dubai? I imagine there are a lot of Westerner's there, how do they keep them safe from terrorist attacks? Seems like all of that stuff would be a magnet for terrorists.
