Why don't zombies resort to cannibalism?

Why would they chase after quick, smarter, gun-wielding humans when there's still quite a bit of flesh on the other slow, stupid zombie? Maybe the brain cells are the first to decay?

From zombies I've seen, they are after brains... so, if you went for the runts of the litter, you'd have to feast on many a stupid creature to match up to one big hefty hunk of good brain.

And besides... zombie brain isn't as tasty for the very reason that they died and all...

Personally, I go after computer nerds... they're either too fat to run away, or too lanky to take a good whop to the head.

Well, zombies go for the human brain, at least all the movies I saw. There was one movie that I saw where mummys ate the entire human body, but zombies just go for the brains in a live human body.

In my experience, zombie meat just isn't as good. It's probably a freshness issue. Either that, or becoming a zombie didn't entirely sublimate the need to hunt and kill.

They get caught because it is in the script. You know, see the scary zombie, so run into an area that you cannot possibly escape from, or don't look wear your going so you trip and fall on your face.
