Why dont we see a lot of dead animals around all over the ground?

1. carcasses in anthropized areas are removed by the authorities
2. anything in the wild disappears fast because of wild animals, like foxes, who will get it and drag it into a hole to eat it or argue over it with other animals and rip it to pieces, also it can roll down into dips and get covered in leaves or be under thick shrubs. E.g. they found an arm of a farm labourer in the woods here, they never found the rest of the body.
3. Animals who are dying of illnesses, injuries and old age hide because they feel vulnerable so they die hidden.
