Why don't we eat turkey eggs and what happens to them all?

We had a couple hen turkeys when I was a kid. We ate turkey eggs all the time. They're just really big, and probably don't make very good boiled eggs because of the size. I don't remember them tasting any different from chicken eggs.

Oh, and we got our first egg today from our hens! It was so tiny.

Turkey eggs are huge.
