My mom was just asking me why this isn't out on DVD yet. We used to LOVE this movie when I was younger. It's the one where Dutch Dooley has to go pickup his GF's son and bring him home...and they end up hitching a ride after the Town Car gets totalled by a big rig 😛

Just thinking about the fireworks scene just makes me LOL 😛
 
That is indeed a classic. I haven't seen it in years, but remember it well. It was weird seeing Ed O'neil in that character instead of Al Bundy.

funny to see ethan embry (doyle) transistion from a loud-mouthed brat kid character to a quiet, weird outsider (empire records, cant hardly wait, that thing you do!)

LMFAO!! That's my mom's FAVORITE part of the whole movie. Where's he's sitting on the curb pouting like a little puppy dog 😀
 
I saw the movie about a month ago on cable. I forgot how funny it was.

I asked the same question about the movie Oscar a few years back. A couple of weeks later it was out.
