Why dont the topics continue past page 1?

For the Anandtech forum 'Highly Technical', how come it only keeps the page 1 of topics and not anymore past that?

There are some great older discussions that I'd like to read, and sometimes if you dont log on for a week or so, you can get behind.

Besides, some topics that fall right off I dont feel are completely discussed out.

Just wonderin if there is a reason for it? Or if it can be changed? The other categories seem to keep pages in their history.
