Why don't safari tabs have favicons?

Each tab is just gray text. It's hard to tell between tabs once I have many open. It's some stupid aesthetic ideal.

The only viable solution right now is Safari Stand, which I have to reinstall because I upgraded to El Capitan.

My other Safari irritation is that I can't reopen more than one previously closed tab.

Just complaining.

Some sites do have favicons, but only when you pin the tab. You can re-open as many previously closed tabs as you want, it's called History :)

But kidding aside, I agree with you. Safari is a really excellent, stupid browser. It's always missing a few key features compared with the competition, and it keeps playing catch-up with each major release, which takes a whole friggen year to release.
