Why don't gas grill tanks have gauges?

Or can I get one somewhere? It always happens to me, I be cookin' up some eats on the ole Bar-B and ffwwuutt! out goes the flame. sh!t!! damn that pisses me off.

Dude, shake the tank and check if there's any gas left before you start cooking!

Its also a good idea to keep two tanks.
 
Back home the gas tanks use to have a small pressure gauge....well the gauge was on the connector from the stove, not the tank itself... i dunno if you can find those around here... I don't see why though.. 🙂
 
Depending on where you live. You can see a line of wetness that shows you where there is propane left. The temp diff makes it sweat like a pop can. But it only seems to work when you are using it.

They also have a magnet strip you can buy that you place on the side of the tank. It shows you temp differences and will show you where the propane level is.
I have seen one grill that has a built in meter. But it's based on weight of the tank. And if it's not on right it throws it off. So it's worthless.
