Why don't computers sell well on ebay?

Everything else seems to sell well. PDAs, peripherals, etc. I build a system with good components and people on ebay don't seem to understand that. Is it because ebay bidders that bid for computers only care about the price and the big numbers like how many Ghz and how many GBs and can careless about the brand of the components? What do you think? I have these three computers that I want to sell on ebay but I'm thinking I should rip everything out and replace it with cheap combos like Durons combos with generic motherboards in order to minimize my loss. What do you think?

Sometimes I wonder if an average ebay bidder even cares that a motherboard is Epox rather than something like Biostar....

😕

the average bidder probably isn't looking for a fish tank on the side of their case, or alienware. i could be wrong of course but if someone was actually LOOKING for that, then they likely would know the difference between Epox and biostar. nice looking systems btw

Used computers are like used tooth brushes..unless your just about giving the things away..why bother??

Probably because it's hard to search for something you don't know about. If I were to search for a computer it would be a string using speed ratings, brand names, or something. Try throwing in some keyword spamming into your title,. it may work, (or you may get your auction cancelled if some loser turns you in)
