I think the best thing I ever got was a $10 gift certificate to some crappy restaraunt...
 
It's because Canadians are essentially really cheap people.

How else can you explain the Snow Bird phenomenon where older Canadians go to Florida and rent beach rental condo's in the off-season (at a huge discount, of course) and go in search of $1.99 meals? :laugh:

lol.. That's such a specific stereotype.. but so deserving of one.. Though, I don't know where you'd get a $1.99 meal anywhere in Florida.

I get both. I get 4% of my yearly wage, for my Christmas bonus the last week of November.

My wife also gets a bonus, but no profit sharing.
 
Didn't you just start your job at Future Shop like 1 month ago? Why would you expect a Bonus. You have to be there a good 5 months to expect anything. Christmas Bonuses, strangely enough, are a New World phenomenon.

None of my coworkers get them either, for the record.
