At one point sites were putting out .wav files of the noise of the cards. It seems like a simple thing to do in a review and lets you know what the card will sound like when you plug it in.
I've built a quiet system with Panaflo fans and quiet PSU. The thing is darn quiet, the loudest thing in my system is 9800pro.
I thought the card was loud until I had to RMA it and put a Ti4200 back in my system. Wow! Loud.
I appreciate my 9800pro more now.
