Why doesn't video play on both screens when using dual display w/ my ATI 9500

I enabled dual display through the ATI control panel using my s-video ports. The primary display is my LCD and the secondary, the TV. When I play videos, the video only shows up on my LCD screen. The only way I can get it to play on the TV is if I make the TV the primary display, but then the video doesn't show up on my LCD. I'm using WMP9 and the soft-modded omega drivers.

You cannot watch video on both screens using dual display using either Nvida or ATI cards. It sucks and it's a bummer... That's life :( .

Actually, you can if you enable video overlay mirroring (or something to that effect -- although you'll get just the video on the second display, and no desktop or anything else). Try a search for "video overlay" and see what turns up.

It will also work if you have a program that decodes in software (as opposed to using hardware acceleration). Many video players have an option for this.
