Why doesn't the yellow pages list bars by the type of beer they carry?

Maybe the phone books should list the bars by level of crappiness. That might be more helpful than listing what beers they carry.

Ad space cost money.

2nd, there might be some issues of placing the name of beers in their ads without the consent of the beer company.

Lets say Bar "A" has al deal with Rolling Rock thus can't push Sammy Adams over Rolling Rock.

When I work at a computer store, sales associates were given monetary incentatives to push certian brands of software and hardware etc.
