Why doesn't the yellow pages list bars by the type of beer they carry?

That would be totally awesome, it would be much easier to recommend a place to meet your friends if you knew the type of beer they carried.

<-- Samual Adams Drinker and not very common around here.

Don't go to crappy bars.

Maybe the phone books should list the bars by level of crappiness. That might be more helpful than listing what beers they carry. :D

You'd be all the way at the end of the phone book if that was the case. ;)

But maybe he is anyway his name could be like...zonk, or zorch, or zzyick :)

There's a "Buddy's" at the bottom of my hill, surprisingly decent little place. Good food, cheap prices.

Ad space cost money.

2nd, there might be some issues of placing the name of beers in their ads without the consent of the beer company.

Lets say Bar "A" has al deal with Rolling Rock thus can't push Sammy Adams over Rolling Rock.

When I work at a computer store, sales associates were given monetary incentatives to push certian brands of software and hardware etc.

the crappiness of a given bar is proportional to the crappiness of the people you are at the bar with :p

Maybe this is too obvious, but since you already have the Yellow Pages in front of you...

perhaps you could call and ask?
