I just moved here and find it really annoying having everything an hour earlier.

not as bad as TBS which doesnt even have its own west coast time schedule...When they said 8pm you would have to know they meant 5pm

Try dealing with the TV schedules when you live in a state that does not change time zones. Everything gets all screwed up. Jeopardy starts to come on at 2:30 in the afternoon, etc. The news at 10 is really on at 9. It is a joke.

I think mountatin time is worse - they have their own tv schedule, but it's 1 hour ahead. i.e., a 8PM eastern time show comes on at 7PM local mountain.

No, we can actually subtract an hour from the time it said and know what the hell they mean..

No, he's right, the central time zone does suck. The central time zone encompasses the boring expanse that fills in space between places where people from interesting time zones can go skiing.

I loved the central time zone. Prime time shows ended at 10 PM and then to bed. Same in the Mountian Time Zone. The Eastern Time Zone sucks IMHO.

As far as the entertainment industry is concerned, there is the East Coast (NYC) and the West Coast (LA/Hollywood). Everything in between is what they call "flyover country". No one in the industry cares about it - you just fly over it on your way between the two places that actually matter.
