Why doesn't Linkin Park have any slow songs?

Not every metal band has soft songs, and in the case of Linkin Park I find half their songs soft already.

Ach, there's nothing more that I hate than a rock band that plays a slow song. I listen to rock for adrenaline. I know deep down that they aren't 'talented' musicians... If I want something slow, I listen to Gustav Holst

Haven't you heard all the great ballads from Cradle of Filth (Amor et Morte), Marduk (Panzer Division Marduk), Sepultura (Beneath the Remains), or the great soft ballad from Slayer (Angel of Death)?

why do you want them to play slow songs for? If you like slow song then go listen to those dull songs by westlife like what skyclad said. I agree taht some rock/alternative groups sucks in playin slow songs, so i don't want them have play something i don't want to listen to on the radio. They play what they like (apple jacks commercial)

Few other good soft metal bands: Cryptopsy, Dying Fetus, Morbid Angel...

I like to hear a softer, slower song from a hard rock band occasionally. Sevendust, for example. Most of the stuff is pretty heavy, but Lajon Witherspoon can actually sing pretty well, in my opinion, and their normal songs don't always let him show this. In general, though, there's nothing wrong with a ballad every now and then. If that wasn't okay, we wouldn't have songs like Stairway to Heaven, Nothing Else Matters, and November Rain.
