Why Doesnt ICQ work with Windows XP ????

the first time i use icq it works fine but than the 2nd time i log in i get a error wanting to report to microsoft...not matter what versions i use (ive tried 4 of the last 5-6 versions) what to do? its dll file error.....it seems to screw up after i add somebody to the contact list....why is this happening? how can i make it work and when is a version of ICQ for Windows XP coming out? i just got a new computer and would like to use the icq program

try miranda icq it's a nice little third party icq version. much less bloatware.

my roomate runs miranda just fine on his winxp system

ICQ 2000b build #3281 seems to work fine on my system. Try that one instead. You can download it here:
