Why doesn't AP release higher quality images?

for the web at tht resolution you dont need anything bigger

they also do it so peopel dont steal them and reprint them

Everyone knows that AP is a whore and often lie to sensationalize their stories, so ofcourse they save the high res stuff for the buyer.
