I don't understand everyone always complains about how Firefox uses too many resources and how IE is just garbage when they could just use the Macs normal browser: Safari 3.1 BETA which can be used with both XP and Vista. It runs smooth has a beautiful interface and most of all is great with the browsing. I just started using it and I can't go back to anything else.

Just installed it for the hell of it. Suprised it didn't make me install Quicktime.

I like what I see so far. It loads extremely quickly and pages seem to render faster.

I agree, it's pretty nice little browser, I'm surprised more people don't use it... You probably will need to install some Windows Plugins and Quicktime in the long run, but it's much nicer then Firefox or Opera as a IE alt.

I tried it when it first came out for Windows. For some reason, I uninstalled it a day or two later. One of the reasons had something to do with absolutely no free add-ons/extensions. It made me go, "WTF? People pay for browser extensions?"

Firefox add-ons have spoiled me.

addons are only needed when browsers are insufficient... it only is supposed to do ONE thing, browse correctly, and this does that.

I like more functionality in my browser. Mine blocks ads, shows weather at the bottom, extracts videos from YouTube, changes between 35 installed themes, does ftp with an easy to use interface, and controls Foobar from the top of the browser. All that, and open source too. Pretty hard to beat :^)

Opera! It is the best!

Other than a lot of websites don't check to see if it works well with them.

I never liked that browser when i was *forced* into using a mac. Why would i want to ruin windows with something from apple?

safari is HORRID. everything from the UI to the lack of tabbing (unless that's a "new feature", because the last time i used safari tabs didn't exist)
