forreals

they make standard t-style undershirts, which reveals the collar, and the sleeves under lighter colored dress shirts... tacky

they make a-shirts (aka wifebeaters), which is also very visible under ligher dress shirts... also embarassing, like a girl with visible pantyline or bra-strap

so why is it that noones combined V-neck or an A-neck, with a sleeveless bodied shirt, so that the hem lines blend in with a normal "over"shirt?

i would buy 20

Judging by the general nature of the OP, I'm going to go out on a limb and venture that he's not allowed to use scissors yet.

or for the true metros, take out the stitches to detach the shirt body from sleve and fold/sew it back over the now exposed edge.

How is a wifebeater under a dress shirt embarrassing? Is that a new fashion faux-pas?

Only if you wear nothing over the wife beater.

no, only when it is clearly visible under your normal shirt... ie if youre wearing a white , lightweight broadcloth shirt
