Why doesn't AMD say the speed in their processors?

The Sempron PR is in relation to the Celeron cpu and the Athlon PR is in relation to the P4. Shouldn't be confusing.

maybe for socket A but i am taking about both socket 754 chips with same mhz speed and the one with less cache get a higher rating?? that's just messed up.

And Athlon XP ratings are supposed to be compared to original Athlon.
