why does youtube's HD stuff play sort of choppy? is there anyway to fix this? is it an IE thing?

i know it's not my machine because it doesn't max out the cpu(s), and i can play anything else HD perfectly smooth, is it an IE thing? i dont have firefox installed to test that out, and youtube doesnt work in Chrome

It played kinda choppy for me. Could be anything with youtube, as sometimes their regular videos play terribly too.

For me, the Youtube HD videos play fine when I stream them in HD but are choppy when I download or capture them for later viewing. Only site that does this.

I've noticed too that sometimes videos play a tad choppy, but not a lot. I noticed it more when I uploaded my own video, it was not as smooth as the original avi.

Vids are always choppy for me. P4 3.0GHz, 2GB RAM, Radeon X1950GT, Vista 32.
