Why does win amp make music flat when i extract mp3's? could it be my soundblaster live card? or my HP 9150i Burner?

i can listen to mp3 on my computer fine, but when i convert them and burn them on to cd...all the music sounds flat.

Are you using the equalizer during playback? Are you using it during conversion to .WAV?

The equalizer should be turned off when you're converting the mp3s to .WAV; if you had the equalizer on during playback but not during conversion it may make it sound different otherwise it should be the same.

Heres a program I use its free and it converts mp3 to wav, and wav to mp3. It also normalizes the songs so one is not really loud and the next is really quite. heres the link altomp3
