I equate weekly flyers with sales.

but w/Walmart, Nothing ever goes on sale.

So why bother?

People that shop at Wally World are not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed ya know.

And those weekly ads do list some of the rollbacks:confused:

Flyers are not the same as sales, they're simply advertising. Walmart never really has "sales" in the sense that most of what they carry is so low profit that it's already cheaper than you'd get it on sale somewhere else. Flyers just advertise a broad range of products they happen to have in this week/month, to try to get you into the store.

Not everyone shops at walmart every day. I hardly ever go to walmart unless they have something cheaper than target, albertsons or safeway which is near my home. And I wouldn't even know if they didn't have the occasional ads in the sunday papers.

Which means Wal-Mart is making beaucoup money from their flyers.

They even have flyers?

Where I am, we don't get one in the paper
I've never seen one when I go in (which isn't very often and usually in a frenzy)

I always thought they didn't have the profit to waste on flyers

New products. Like other retailers they advertise the new movies, books, CDs, and other stuff they get in.
