Why does using Chrome to visit Yahoo cause redirect loop errors

Sometime this year my co worker and I started getting redirect loop errors when trying to access content on yahoo's front page. It still works in firefox most of the time but Chrome will not. This started about 2-3 months ago.

Just installed Chrome and tried myself, and no issues. Is this issue specific to your location?

Check to see if Chrome is set to "Block third-party cookies and site data" (in Settings > Show Advanced Settings...> Privacy / Content settings... -> Cookies / "Block third-party cookies and site data")

If it is, you either need to:
1) Uncheck this "Block third-party cookies and site data"
or
2) Add the following exceptions in "Manage exceptions..." Add new hostname pattern [*.]googleusercontent.com set to Allow

Restart Chrome and give it a try...

Checked but that setting is not set to block. I tried again and get the following error:

So i deleted all yahoo cookies but I get the same error. Since this is my work i did not want to delete all my cookies (at this time) so maybe i will try again when i have more free time in a week.

Did U clear all cookies? I would run CCleaner and Superantispy and get rid of all cookies and clear yr DNS cache.

Did U clear all cookies? I would run CCleaner and Superantispy and get rid of all cookies and clear yr DNS cache.

I cleared ALL cookies this morning and still an issue. I am running Emsisoft emergency kit again looking for malware.

Disable addons and/or start Chrome in safe-mode.

Or,

Rename your Chrome profile folder and you'll create a new profile. See if the problem persists.

Time to clear out chrome history, add-ons, everything. I wish Chrome had a nice and easy safe mode option like Firefox.
