Why does the Sci-Fi channel show "Crossing Over"?

I would assume that most people who like science fiction would think this show to be totally fake and phoney. It doesn't seem like it belongs on the sci-fi channel. It belongs more on the psychic network.

I've watched John Edward in his "Crossing Over" performance a number of times. It surely does seem authentic. If it is, the program deserves major network time, at least in competition with the afternoon "my wife is sleeping with my favorite call girl's brother's gay lover" crap. It doesn't seem to fall under the Sci-Fi category. If it is made up stuff, it could be on A&E at least.

I have to admit that the messages from the other side are pretty disappointing, mostly just showing someone in the audience that a dead relative or friend is there ("acknowledging&quot😉. But it is entertaining, and it gives lots of hope regarding what happens to us when we die.

If Edward is making all of it up, just for money, he deserves to "cross over" himself, right now!

I'd love to believe that guy is for real, but the only way I'll ever go for it is for him to communicate to me something only me and my father could have known.....then maybe I'd believe.
