Why Does the PC List Two New Drives?

My PC has two hard drives, with three partitions in each. I also have two optical drives. I noticed just today when I went into My Computer there are now four optical drives listed. The two "phantom drives" also show up in Device Manager. Both are labeled as Nero ImageDrive2 SCSI CdRom Device. I uninstalled them from Device Manager, and when I rebooted they reappeared.
I just finished a fresh install of everything the other day on a new hard drive, and I also installed Nero 6.6 Ultra Edition. I'm assuming this has something to do with this, obviously. Why does the program, (if it does), install these two listings? Just curious as it doesn't seen to affect anything.

I believe they are there so you can burn to those devices (even from Windows explorer) if you just want to create an ISO...

Why would they reappear after I uninstalled them through Device Manager? And this was without reopening Nero.

Because there's a program running in the background that re-installs them. If you don't want them, uninstall the Nero virtual drive software.
