24 hour news coverage is a horrible idea. I hate how CNN, Headline News etc. will cover a story without any details available, so they resort to insinutating non-facts (usually with child abductions, why are these so fascinating? They are tragic, but seriously, not for 72 hours straight).

Haven't had cable since September (mainly because the Sammy 1080p panel stayed behind when I moved) and don't miss it at all. I prefer the internet and newspapers for information.
