Why does the 'II" in my name appear uncapitalized in the topic view?

Pyonir pointed it out to me earlier and it got me curious... Any ideas??

(BTW: it dosent do it all the time, just on occation)

You probably log in as aphexii sometimes and aphexII other times.

The username isn't case sensitive when it comes to authorizing access however the way you typed it will affect the way it appears in topic view.



Example:

If you logged in as ApHeXiI, it would show it that way in topic view.

Change your user name to aphex2 and youll never have that problem again. BTW what is an aphex anyway?

I would agree with you except that i dont login, i have it set to always keep me logged in.

aphexII is my version of aphextwin, a 'intriguing' techno artist.

I have a few pc's, but this is the only one i use to surf... The others dont even have monitors hooked up to em

ok I'm testing your theory... I logged in as PAULSON

and as thought, it didn't work. case sensitivity isn't an issue, but once you create a user name, it wont change.

I assure that it does work, at least sometimes. I have done it before and learned it from other users here.

It doesn't change the way it appears in the thread itself, only in topic view.

I was just curious because it was pointed out to me and i then noticed it too... When it showed that i had replied to a thread, it showed 'aphexii'
