I couldn't finish reading that article. I thought I was going to be ill when I saw the FX5600 failing to not only the Ti4200 but barely squeaking by the R9000.

Thanx for that link I've been looking@a vid card upgrade and that article confirmed for me that most of the games I play are more dependent on my CPU, but also indicates some require the new card for eye candy, and since Delta Force:Blackhawk Down is choppy as hell@1024x768x32 with everything on high on my 8500LE with a 2.4B@3.114ghz I'm still gonna spring for a new card.

NP. That article is interesting for a variety of reasons.

One of them is the fact CPU + GPUs still go hand in hand. The second makes you wonder if drivers are not optimized for the game engines review sites typically use.(Quake III, soon to be Doom 3).
