Why does the epox manual state ff means failure?

Anyhow, it is working well Im just frustrated that the book says the ff led means something is wrong.

I just put this thing together two days ago and it runs like a champ so far as I can tell.

epox9nda3+
winnie 3200+
2x512 corsair3200 value
maxtor diamondmax10 250/16cache
evga6800 gt

All the caps look good and it boots fine with new bios flash 9nd35202.bin . Other than the maxtor being noisey I have no problems with it, just annoyed with the FF code.

If you first turn the system and it shows FF instantly I think it means failer. But if its cycling through some codes before showing FF its fine.

Yep, as long as it comes up FF while you're in Windows, you're good to go. I once had an EPoX board back in the day (damned if I can remember the model number) and I remember FF = good in Windows. :D
