Why does the 3d image in RTCW show breaking?

I have GF2 MX. I admit that it can't go 32MB with good looks and framerates in RTCW.

So I go 16bit High geometry, normal everthing, 32bit textures, no nvidia fog and it works nice but when I turn the lightmap to high then every twist and turn I make, the graphics break. I turn the lightmap of and the graphics quality isn't as good.

I'm using the current detonator drivers and have to clue to why this is happening to me!

Turn the textures down to 16 bit. Colors you can run at 32 bit and you can probably get away with running with fog enabled.

Also, if you have vertical sync set to off you're going to see some tearing in the image, but it shouldn't happen with every twist and turn.
