Why does SpeedTV have Fifth Gear and not Top Gear?

Just watching on SpeedTV right now til my TG dl finishes...they're not nearly as interesting nor are their reviews that insightful. I guess that the show must have been really cheap to syndicate.

It'd be awesome to turn on the TV, flip the channel over and see Jeremy Clarkson.

Agreed. I love Speed Channel, but here's what I want to see:

More Top Gear.
More F1 coverage.
More World Rally coverage.
More MotoGP coverage.
More Options Auto.
More Best Motoring.

i agree it would be great to see TG in the states, but I still like Fifth Gear. Just watching Tiff drive is worth watching. But in general, Top Gear definetely has a more entertaining format.

I think cuz Top Gear is on a diff network that has diff licensing agreements..not to mention that Top Gear rags on America a lot more and Americans can't take a joke at their expense.

In terms of Best Motoring..the gotta pay someone to dub it..so it's a tad more expensive than just buying it and airing it...
