Why does something so small hurt so much?

Hand slipped while brushing my teeth. Now I've got a nice little ulcer developing at the site of the gum injury.

Considering the damn thing is about 1/8" across, it sure does cause a lot of pain.

It's also managed to give me nice painful glands on that side of my neck. Guess what? They're just as painful and just as small.

Advil is your friend. I would suggest somehow acquiring Vicodin, but that would be illegal. 😉

I got like 6 of em left from when I got my teeth extracted. Ended up not needing them and now they sit there, tempting me...

Take some salt, straight from the shaker, put it in some water and wash your mouth with it for 30 sec after every meal. Will cut the thing's life in half.
