I think most makeup is terrible for your skin. That's why I don't wear foundation or eye shadow. Just eyeliner, mascara, a little lipstick or lip gloss, and sometimes blush. I don't know why some women wear a lot makeup, a little of the above highlights your features and should be all you need.

Actually there is a lot of higher end make up that's good for your skin. There is nothing wrong with foundation, as long as you have the right kind for your skin, as well as the right colour. There should not be a line along your chin that you can see a difference from make up and natural skin tone.
Eyeshadows can be a great way to accentuate your eyes. That is the key though, accentuating what you already have, not hiding it under a ton of paint!

I've heard that some foundation can be good for your skin, but if you have combination skin, I just don't see how one type could be good for both dry and oily skin at the same time. About the only reason I can see for using it is if they have a lot of blemishes or uneven complexion. Maybe I've just been lucky as far as acne and other blemishes go, but I've always thought that one of the reasons I've never had a problem has to do with not using the makeup.
As far as eyeshadow goes, I've always felt that because the skin there is so thin, all that manipulation from putting the eyeshadow on and taking it off would contribute to wrinkling later on.

There is foundation for dry/oily skin, not sure about the science behind it...but hey if you don't feel you need it, then more power to you!
I'm not sure how you are putting on your eyeshadow...but I can put it on without moving
much if any of my skin...perhaps you're not using proffessional brushes?? If you just used the sponges that come with the makeup, then I suppose it could be hard on your eye skin.
Another tip for not damaging the delicate eye skin, is instead of waxing....find someone who does threading. Much better for elasticity of the skin.![]()

if you are friends with her tell her she is beautiful w/o makeup and that it detracts from her appearence . . . you could score major points . . . (or lose them . . . females are impossible to predict)
