Why does red beer get me drunk faster than others?

I'm not here to brag about drinking, or tollerances, but I do want you to know I work at a bar and I can handle a significant ammount of beer.

But, when I drink red beer (Killians red in this case) after 6, I'm messed up.

Guiness, Miller, or anything else doesn't do this to me... only red beer.

What gives? Is there something special in the water?

If you're talking about the macrobrews....I agree.

If you're talking about the micros, I totally disagree. There are some unbelievably good beers coming out of smaller breweries in the US.

IMO, Miller should have never stopped making Miller Red. Even the can was bad ass.

That actually wasn't bad stuff. It was nice having an all-malt macrobrew to sip on now and then. Beer made with rice = watery crap. :disgust:
